• Character: Yuna
• Fandom: Final Fantasy X-2
• Reason for Being Hated: Though not hated that much in Final Fantasy X, she receives some hate in the sequel: Dances and sings like a pop idol (especially in the beginning of the game), her personality is not like from the original, the sequel ruining her character, and is obsessed with Tidus to the point of trying to be similar to him (hairstyle, wears Zanarkand Abes insignia, acts like him when in various dresspheres, etc.).

Everybody who hates on Yuna (even in X-2) should just piss off.  Up to the finale of X Yuna had spent her whole life believing that she would die for the Final Aeon, and even if she was willing to do so, imagine the burden that would’ve placed on her.  Yuna in X-2 is probably a ‘truer’ Yuna, as she no longer lives under the shadow of that horrible burden of her own death. Also, thanks to the events of X her role as a summoner is no longer needed, so she would have to find herself a new way of life.

Even if X-2 has some issues I quite love Yuna in it.  She’s moved on and learned a lot from X, yet she still holds on to her quiet determination to do the right thing.  And so what if she is more similar to Tidus?  He helped her become stronger, she loves him.  The whole reason X-2 happened is because she wants to find him again, and acting/dressing like him is probably her way of dealing with the loss until they are reunited.  What’s wrong with that?

Also, if people hate her for the opening of the game, did they miss the part where that was revealed to be LeBlanc?

Yuna fucking rocks.

Yuna was the best in X-2.

I loved reserved, nice, quiet yuna, but X-2 Yuna was fun, exciting, and exploring her “True self”. <3
